Summer Sounds: Thursday Nights In July
Bring your chairs, blankets, dinner, dancing shoes, etc. the performances will be held out on the lawn. If the weather is inclement, we will move the party inside!
July 6th at 7:00pm- “Don’t Tell Lisa” Band- Voted Best Band on the shoreline 2022, they play all your dance party needs from the 1970’s through today!
July 13th at 7:00pm- “The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue”- We welcome back Boston’s finest Premier National Touring Doo Wop Band. From New Hampshire to New Orleans and Virginia to Vegas, The Corvettes perform the great music of the Doo Wop era with a fresh new energy. Their incredibly entertaining show and comical stage antics have left many a happy audience screaming for more! In the tradition of legendary Doo Wop revivalists Sha Na Na, every Corvettes show is more than a concert – it’s an all-out Doo Wop Celebration!
July 20th at 7:00pm- “The Cartells” Band- We welcome back one of the leading local bands! This 5-person band will be packing the dance floor! Playing Jazz, Swing, Motown, R&B and Rock n Roll!
July 27that 7:00pm- “Take Two & Call Me in the Morning” Local band comprised of physicians and health care providers. This 6 person band specializes in vocally driven classic rock songs from the 60’s to the 2000’s. They play music from the Beatles, Stones, Petty, Bowie, NRBQ, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, the Who, Pretenders, Grateful Dead and Elle King just to name a few.

CT Rivers: Past, Present and Future
On Wednesday, July 5th at 1 PM– Dick Shriver, editor of Estuary Magazine, will lead a slide-based seminar about the Connecticut River; it’s past, present and future. He will take us through the 12,000 years leading up to the industrial revolution, with its pros and especially its cons. He will remind us of the key national leaders who brought about positive change. Finally, he will list
the ongoing efforts to protect the river as we head into the future, and the next 12,000 years.
Waterford Band Concert
The Original Waterford Community Band- enjoy a musical night outside (weather permitting) on Thursday, June 29th at 7pm. If it rains, the concert will be indoors. The concert is free and open to the public.
