Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, is an eight time Tony Award winner, including Best Musical.  This dark tale, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, is set in Victorian era London and follows Sweeney Todd, a barber who returns home after fifteen years of exile to exact revenge on the corrupt judge who ruined his life.  Featuring some of the most chilling music ever written for the stage, this masterpiece is sure to thrill, intrigue, and delight audiences!

CT Waters: A Celebration of our Coastline

Wednesday, June 22nd at 1:00pm  Local Published writer and photographer, Caryn Davis whose images & articles have appeared in the NY Times, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, Town & Country, and Connecticut Magazine will be here to present her book CT Waters: A Celebration of our Coastline. Books will be available for signing at the end of this event.

Father’s Day Cookout

Monday, June 13th at 12:00pm.

FREE FOR ALL MALE MEMBERS!!

We will be serving Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, and Cheeseburgers with chips and water. Pre-sign up is required.

For all other members it will be $5.00 (lunch will be supplemented by the board of directors). Presignup and payment required. If you wish to come and are not a member, it will be full price $7.50. The Lions Club will be hosting it proceeds will go to their scholarship fund.

Immediately following at 1:00pm we will celebrate our “FATHERS” by listening to the very talented LOL Jazz Cats Middle School Jazz Band. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs for this outdoor event!

June 15th at 1:00pm (FREE), we will host a speaker who will talk about some Scams and Fraud: Tips and Tricks and how to avoid being a target. It will be presented by Navy Federal Credit Union.

Watercolor Class: The Process

June 6th and 13th from 1-3pm (2 sessions, 4 hours) ($14), we will have a class entitled “The Process”, which will focus on the planning and completing of your watercolor painting.
