Take A Hike Thursdays

From 9:30-12:30 on the 2nd Thursday of every month

Each month a group will get together at various hiking areas in Lyme and Old Lyme.  Hikes will be lead by Wendy Hill, Open Space Coordinator of Lyme and the Vice President of Lyme Land Trust.  The walks are moderate, unless otherwise noted. Bring a water bottle, dress for the weather and a hiking stick or pole if you would like.  Reservations are required.  Please email sgould@oldlyme-ct.gov or call 860-434-4127 to reserve your spot.   All hikes are 2.5 to 3 miles.  Inclement weather cancels the hike.

Mini Pedicures

9:00-12:00pm on the 2nd Thursday of every month

Cost is $25.00, call 860 434 4127 for an appointment.  Please remember to bring a small bath towel (not a hand towel) and flip flops to the appointment.

Knit Wits Knitting Group

Meets from 10:00-12:00pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month

Chair Yoga for Pain (virtual)

This helps – Chair Yoga for Pain: Learn to access & activate your body’s self-healing potential, release the anxiety around pain, ease the anticipation of pain and the harmful habits we create.  The class will always include breathing techniques, meditation and movement. Choose your challenge! Choice is always an option and many modifications will be offered.

Low Impact Aerobics

Every Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30am

Drop in and Ongoing  $5.00 Classes are open to all members.  Kate Perez is our instructor.

Description: Low Impact Aerobics – A super fun, full body workout for all fitness levels that combines 30 mins. of moderately paced, easy to follow cardio aerobics sequences designed to elevate the heart rate and keep you moving. We finish up with 15 to 20 minutes of work using a combination of weights, bands, balls and chairs to target strength, balance and functional movements that mimic daily life. This class includes many different modifications and options for low impact or higher impact work dependent upon the individual’s desire to be challenged. No matter your fitness level or your goals this class is super fun and will leave you smiling and feeling accomplished! Come try your first class free! Preregistration is required.

Rogue Rollers Bocce Group

Meets Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30pm

Cafe Lunches

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00-1:00pm

Join us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Lunch provided by the Estuary Council.   Get together with friends for an enjoyable afternoon meal. Cost is $3.00 for Seniors.  Call 860 388 1611 by 11:00am the day before you want to come for lunch to reserve your spot.  Menu varies.
