COVID SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE
The Montville Senior Center Med RIDE I program is available to take seniors to any/all medical
appointments. Doctor, pharmacy, hospital screenings & tests, dentists, etc. To make an appointment,
call Kathie or Ruthie at the Senior Center 860-848-0422. It is best to schedule your appointment as
soon as it is made to avoid any scheduling conflicts. This program is supported by the Town of
Montville and Senior Resources with Title III funds made available under the Older Americans Act.

Massages Therapy- December 14th and 28th from 1:00-4:00pm and additional day December 15th from 9:00-12:00pm
Massages to be offered on Wed, Dec 14th & 28th from 1pm to
4pm. You can reserve a 25 minute appointment for $30 or a 55
minute appointment for $60.
Additional day added Thu, Dec 15th, 9am – 12pm.

Chair Yoga- Wednesday 1:00-2:00pm
New session starts on Jan 6th and ends Mar 24th.
In person instruction on Wed at 1:00pm.
12 classes. Class fee $30R and $33NR.
Chair Yoga enables participants to enjoy the benefits of Yoga without having to get down or back up from the floor. This class will help participants maintain their fitness, recover after injuries or surgery while bringing calmness to the mind and a lifting of spirits. It will also help to improve brain function and co-ordination. A chair is used for the class. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes.

GUITAR LEVEL 2 LESSONS – Monday from 12:00-1:00pm
New session starts Jan 9th ends Mar 20th (no class 1/16 & 2/20). In person instructor led lessons for advanced beginner and more experienced students on Mon at 12pm.
9 classes. Class fee $54R & $59NR
Guitar Lessons are provided in a high quality group session. Learn how to strum chords, play a song melody and meet others interested in music lessons. Knowing how to read music is not necessary. Loaners are available.

New Session starts Jan 6th and ends on Mar 24th (no class 1/4).
In person instruction on Wed and Fri at 9am.
23 classes. Class fee $58R and $64NR.
Tai Chi is a system of exercise based on Chinese Internal Martial Arts. The techniques and practice are circulares in nature, soft, slow and continuous. This class is does Qi Gong (Chinese Health Giving Exercises) and Tai Chi Forms. Sometimes equated to “mediation in motion” Tai Chi practice is not strenuous and promotes calm, fluidity and balance. A chair can be used to assist with balance. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and shoes that will not stick to the wooden floor.
