Learn about the diverse body of artwork created by African American artists and the historical, social, and cultural events, as well as the life experiences, that inspired their work.
The Arc comes to Local Creations Shop *Open M-F 9:30am-1:30pm
You may have noticed some changes happening in the Local Creations Shop. Maybe you’ve seen some new faces or some new items in the shop. This is all due to a special transition! The Arc of New London County has taken over management of the shop and we are in for a real treat. Literally in for a treat because the shop does not just offer handmade crafts anymore, The Arc of New London County has brought in baked goods as well to the shop. Head in and meet and greet the new faces working in the shop. Don’t forget to pick up a treat and some lovely pieces from the shop.
They also do special orders.
