Beginning Line Dancing- Fridays

Tai Chi Class is on summer break

This class is offered free through the support of Jewett City Savings Bank.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise used in martial arts that can provide therapeutic balance.   It can also help with stress, and so many other health benefits.

Swedish Weaving- Thursdays (On Break for the Summer)

Time: 10:00am- 12:00pm

Swedish weaving is a fun, relaxing type of embroidery on monk’s cloth. It is easy to do and simple to learn.  Finished pieces are incredible and make fabulous heirloom-quality items for gift giving or to keep for yourself!

Wednesday, May 9th and May 16th- Technology for Seniors

Wednesday, May 9th and May 16th at Griswold High School from 1:15 pm- 2:00pm.

Griswold High School students will help you with your technology needs. Join them for coffee and dessert. Bring your ipad, cell phone or other device. Sign up with the senior center. Transportation is provided and bring your device. If you would like to drive yourself, simply sign up by calling 860-376-7662. Please leave a message and what type of device you would like help with. Don’t forget to bring your charger!

Skip-Bo -Tuesdays

Time: 12:00pm- 1:00pm

It’s easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. It will keep that thinking cap working. Come learn a fun new game!

Skip-Bo is a card game like the 1967 version of Spite and Malice.  You cam have 2 to 6 players.

Aerobics- Tuesdays & Thursdays

Time: 9:00am- 10:00am

Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines stretching and strength training in different levels of intensity to music.
