Picture a giant, hollow ball made of glass with stain glass as if it were a political map of the Earth turned inside out – you are inside The Mapparium. We will enjoy a three course family-style Italian lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy. Next, be amazed by the realistic flowers made of blown glass at The Glass Flowers exhibit in the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Moderate walking. Trip fee $150pp. Registration now open.

Explore the country’s principal institution concerned with exploring the implications of the events of September 11th – The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum. The Memorial’s twin reflecting pools sit within the footprints where the Twin Towers once stood. Lunch on Brookfield Place, an upscale food court in the heart of Lower Manhattan.
