SNAP FOOD PROGRAM:         You may be eligible for extra help with the cost of groceries. Call the Senior Center for Information and/or to make an  appointment to apply.

DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

    Food box is free

    No paperwork necessary

    First-come first-serve or until we run out

    Thanksgiving Dinners!

    We are working to assist the American Legion with delivering hot turkey dinners. Do you or someone you know need a hot Thanksgiving meal delivered to them on Thanksgiving Day?

    Please call the senior center at 860-376-2604.

    There is no cost for the meal.
