SNAP FOOD PROGRAM:         You may be eligible for extra help with the cost of groceries. Call the Senior Center for Information and/or to make an  appointment to apply.

DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

    This fuel fund account was started by the Griswold Seniors for residents of Jewett City and Griswold that are at risk of freezing during the winter. Please help us to continue this tradition of helping those in need.

    We are working to assist the American Legion with delivering hot turkey dinners. Do you or someone you know need a hot Thanksgiving meal delivered to them on Thanksgiving Day?

    There is no cost for the meal.
