DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

    Items Needed: Regular Coffee, Decaffeinated coffee, Napkins, Food service gloves, Plastic forks & spoons, 7 inch paper plates, 5 oz paper cups and 8 oz plastic drinking cups. ENSURE is always needed for those in need.

    Time: 10:00 to 12:00
    Bring your unwanted U.S./Foreign Coins, any condition jewelry, gold/sterling silver or dental gold to the senior center. Main Street Rare Coins & Antiques will donate 10% of proceeds back to the senior center
