    Groton Parks Foundation

Groton Parks Foundation Logo - 2014

Since its formation 2000, the Groton Parks Foundation has supported Groton’s recreation, sports, leisure, and athletics programs and facilities by collecting funds for special projects such as park improvements, new playground equipment, special needs accommodations, and more, including the current trails improvements at the Copp Family Park. If you would like to continue to see improvements made to Groton’s parks and recreational opportunities, please consider lending your support to the Groton Parks Foundation.

Support can be made in a number of ways:

    1. Form a Friends Group – Have you always wanted a local splash pad? Perhaps you see a need for a new playground in your neighborhood. Form a Friends of the Groton Parks Foundation group and help make your dream a reality! Friends Groups serve the Groton community by advocating for parks and by raising funds support for their chosen park, facility, or program.
    1. Volunteer – Park clean-up and improvement projects often rely on help from community volunteers. By contributing your time and talents to fill the needs of our parks, your support make it possible to offer the services and spaces enjoyed by the community.
    1. Donate – Your tax-deductible donation to the Groton Parks Foundation will support ongoing and future projects to enhance recreational opportunities in Groton.
