Enhanced Benefits Checkup Counseling is BACK!!

Senior Resources Enhanced Benefits Checkup Coordinator, Lori Napolitano will be taking appointments here at Groton Senior Center twice a month on Tuesdays the following dates:

  • Screenings are appropriate for those seeking State/Federal Program assistance as well as Medicare Counseling.
  • Clients can be scheduled regardless of where they live in CT.  If an appointment is not available at the town they reside, clients will can schedule at another location.
  • Clients must come prepared for their appointment. Failure to come prepared impacts the client negatively.

TRANSPORTATION

As a rider on the Thrive 55+ transportation, the center provides a low cost ride to medical appointments and shopping for recommended $2 donation.

    Join Deb Downes, Registered Dietitian,

    to learn how to enjoy the food portion of these celebrations without breaking the calorie budget.

    Learn about strategies, food groups to help (and hinder!), how to lighten up recipes, and taste some summer fare!

    Bring a recipe to lighten up – we’ll do as many possible in time allotted.

    COLORING ~NOT JUST FOR KIDS
    Coloring has been found to relieve stress/anxiety, helps you relax, helps the brain focus and concentrate. Join us for this fun way to unwind.

    Coloring Program
    Thursdays, March 10 – April 28 11am – 12pm
    Classroom 3 Cost: $8 for 8 week session

    We have many options of pages to color and pencils.
    Feel free to bring your own.

    ADA Transportation
