OLD LYME EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PRESS RELEASE:

Given the extreme temperatures and humidity expected this coming weekend, Old Lyme Emergency Management is opening the Lymes’ Senior Center 26 Townwoods Road  this weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 4:30 for individuals who would like to escape the excessive heat.  The air conditioned facility will offer water, light snacks, internet and TV.  People are urged to call the Emergency Management Call Center at 860-598-0120  with any questions.

Friday, August 16th at 1:00pm for an AARP Drive Safety Class which will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm. Call to sign up. Cost is $15.00 for members/ $20.00 for non-members.

Join us on Tuesday, August 13th at 12:45 pm for the showing
of Book Club. Four lifelong friends have their lives forever
changed after reading 50 Shades of Grey in their monthly book
club. Starring Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Dianne Keaton.

All dancers that wish to join us for the field trip to Dance
Country in Ledyard should meet us at the center on August 9th
at 12:15pm unless they choose to drive there on their own. The
Senior Dance Party will be from 1:00-3:00pm and cost $5.00,
