- You need to be a registered Member of the Senior Center to take part in activities, classes or use rooms at the Senior Center. This includes our Hairdresser, Massage Therapy, transportation, all classes, special programs, Computer Room, Library, Pool Room, Bingo, etc.
- Please fill out a Membership Application to update your renewal information. It is important for us to have your correct address, phone number, emergency contact, etc.
- Please use your SCAN CARD every time you visit the Senior Center. The statistics are vital for us to maintain what we offer by showing usage of our classes, programs and services. If you don’t have a Scan Card or you are not sure how to use it, please stop by Reception for help.
Benefits Counseling
Benefits Counseling* – Is available with Natalie one day per week. Natalie can meet with any senior, 60 years and older, who lives in New London County. Natalie can assist you with your questions about Medicare, Supplemental Insurances, State Programs, and more. Please call (860) 889-5960 for an appointment.

Outreach Services
OUTREACH – Is available with Carolyn for Norwich residents, 55 years old or over. Home visits are available for homebound seniors. Carolyn can assist you with your questions about Medicare Savings Program, Medicare-D, Housing, Supplemental Insurances, State Programs, Renter’s Rebate and more. Farmer’s Market Vouchers
Will be distributed on: Wednesday, July 20th from 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Farmer’s Market coupons are available to low income seniors who meet certain eligibility requirements.
You must meet the following Eligibility Requirements in order to receive a coupon booklet:
¨ You must be 60 years or older.
¨ Yearly income not to exceed $25,142 for single or $33,874 for couple.
¨ Must be participating in another need based program that verifies income eligibility such as Renter’s Rebate, Congregate Meal Program, Medicaid, SNAP (Foodstamps), etc.
¨ You must be a resident of the town you receive the coupon booklet from.
¨ If you are under 60 and disabled you must meet all other eligibility requirements and live in subsidized housing facilities occupied primarily by older individuals to be eligible.
Limit of one coupon booklet per eligible senior annually.
Renter’s Rebate Program
A program for low income elderly (65+) or disabled individuals who have rented in CT in 2021 and have not applied for the homeowners Circuit Breaker Program. Program open through October 1, 2022.
You must apply in the town you are currently living in and have rented in Connecticut in 2021.
Income Limits:
Single: $38,100 yearly or less / Couple: $46,400 yearly or less

Yearly Membership runs from July 1st – June 30th
Norwich Residents: Suggested $25.00 per year / Out-of-Town Membership: $40.00 per year
Membership renewal is due now, regardless of when you originally signed up.
