    Tuesday, July 16th- Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock & Olde Mystick Village

    Bus leave the Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. and returns approx. 3:15 p.m.

    Sign up at Reception starting at 10:00 a.m. on June 10th

    First stop will be for lunch at Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock in New London.  This casual, outdoor dining restaurant is a local summer favorite for seafood lovers but also offers garden salads, hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches.  Captain Scott’s is located right on the water with beautiful views of Shaw’s Cove Marina.  (Please note: seating is outdoors only)
    After lunch, a short ride will bring you to Olde Mystick Village.  Here you will have time on your own to explore the specialty shops and boutiques or just stroll around the shopping village enjoying your day!

    Cost: $2 for transportation.  Payment is due by July 10th.  Lunch is on your own.

    Thursday, June 20th – Trip to see Always A Bridesmaid Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Theater, Newport, RI

    Departure 9:45am and return 6:30pm

    Start with a delicious buffet luncheon with all foods prepared on the premises.
    Following lunch enjoy the hilarious Matinee performance of Always A Bridesmaid!

    Tuesday, June 11th- Trip to Point Judith and Galilee Narragansett, RI

    Departure 9:30am and return 4:00pm

    Enjoy a beautiful early Summer day in Galilee and Point Judith!  Your drop off location will be near George’s of Galilee Restaurant.  You will have time on your own to enjoy lunch, sightseeing and shopping!  You will be within walking distance to Salty Brine State Beach (Galilee Beach) and Roger W. Wheeler State Beach.  You will have multiple restaurants in the area to choose from or you can pack a lunch and eat by the water as you enjoy the fishing boats come and go.  Be sure to bring your camera, sunblock and hat!
    This trip has mostly walking.

    Cost: $3 for transportation.  Lunch is on your own.

    Thursday, May 23th and Tuesday, June 18th- Trip to The Music Man at the Goodspeed Opera House, East Haddam, CT

    Departure: 10:45am, Returns 5:30pm

    This trip has minimal walking.

    First, enjoy a delicious lunch at Olive Garden (lunch on your own).  Following lunch, a short ride will bring you to the beautiful Goodspeed Opera House for the delightful musical The Music Man.  Set along the tranquil Connecticut River, the Goodspeed Opera House was built in 1876 by William Goodspeed.  This intimate theater brings you closer to the excitement of live musicals and will delight, inspire and entertain you with their shows!
    The Music Man ~ You got trouble in River City!  Professor Harold Hill and Marian the Librarian march into a rousing new production of this great American musical.  When huckster Harold promises to save an Iowa town by selling the dream of a boys’ band, Marian is the only skeptic.  Until she starts to buy his pitch.  Fall in love all over again with “76 Trombones,” “The Wells Fargo Wagon,” “Trouble” and “Till There Was You.”  A glorious classic that will have you parading in the streets!

    This trip will be using the Senior Center bus for transportation.
    You are responsible to find your own ride to the Senior Center before and after the trip.
    COST: $65 per person  includes The Music Man side orchestra ticket and transportation.  Lunch is on your own.  Limited tickets available.
