This is not your typical stretching program! As we age our muscles become shorter and lose their elasticity. Aging can affect the structure of our bones and muscles causing pain and decreased range of motion in the shoulders, spine, and hips. Stretching is an excellent way to help relieve pain, increase flexibility, and increase range of motion to enhance our everyday life. Class is for anyone seeking to achieve the many benefits of stretching.
Fee: $32/ $42 non-resident

Mind Aerobics is a thought-provoking, memory strengthening class that meets once a week for one hour.  Students are given exercises to stimulate all areas of the brain, focusing on creative thinking, lifelong learning, logical and analytical problems, memory skills, and the 7 fields of knowledge (history, literature, visual arts, science, music, philosophy, and religion).   Field trips to places of interest are also included.
Fee: $20 per resident/ $30 non resident

Discover Connections is a welcoming and nurturing program designed for individuals 55 and over with varied needs including those persons with beginning to mild cognitive challenges or anyone at risk for social isolation. Activities are planned to be fun with a purpose that may stimulate memories or test the brain to solve a problem.
New experiences will be offered involving art, music, cultural topics, history and more.
This program is a social model for programming and no skilled care is provided by staff. Individuals must be
comfortable in a group setting.

Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. $30 per person.
