May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is wealth, especially during Mental Health Awareness Month—May. The stigma around mental health and treatment has long existed, even though this has started to change. Still, people hesitate to seek help or even talk about it with their loved ones for fear of being judged and facing unnecessary backlash. Simple logic dictates that if we are hurt anywhere, we must seek treatment to get better. This applies to both our mental- and physical well-being. Let us know how we can help!

A note from Liaison Billy Caron-

Dear Seniors,
I am looking forward to honoring all of you this month at the Older American’s Month Celebration. We have so much to be thankful to our elderly for. I know that I am personally thankful to my Grandmother and for all that she had done for me while growing up. I am blessed to know so many of our seniors in Town. I thank you for all that you have done for our great community,
our country and I know that each of us has so much to be thankful for in our personal lives.
