    Tuesday, December 18th- Senior Holiday Luncheon

    Cost: $12 per person

    Please join us for our annual Holiday Luncheon!  This fully catered event will feature a delicious holiday plated meal served to you at your table, delightful musical entertainment by Karen Wagner-Iovanna, door prizes and of course great company and a fun time!

    Menu:  House Garden Salad with Creamy Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette, Maple Sausage & Apple Cornbread Stuffed Chicken Breast with Gravy,  Whipped Red Skinned Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetable Medley, Seven Cheese Mac & Cheese, Cranberry Sauce & Assorted Dinner Rolls, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

    Tuesday, November 6th- Senior Center Closed due to Voting Precinct

    On Tuesday, November 6th, the Senior Center is being used as a voting precinct.

    The building will be CLOSED for the day except for voting.  ALL Senior Center programs and classes are cancelled for the day.   ALL rooms will be closed.  NO lunch will be served. 

    We will still provide transportation to Medical Appointments and Walmart Shopping.

     

    Thursday, December 6st- Roseland Combo Holiday Concert

    Time: 1:30 p.m.

    This event is free. Hope you join us!

    Please join us and celebrate the season!  Rose City Senior Center’s concert band, Roseland Combo, will be playing holiday music for all to enjoy.  This wonderful band consists of very talented Senior Center members who will be playing a selection of holiday songs.  Light Refreshment will be served.

    Friday, November 2nd- Introduction to Beginner Tai Chi

    Interested in learning Tai Chi but not exactly sure what it is really about? 

    This free one week introductory class is for you!  Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise using graceful movements to connect the mind and body.  Sometimes described as “meditation in motion”, Tai Chi is used for stress reduction and to help with a variety of other health conditions.  This introductory class will explain the fundamentals and benefits of Tai Chi with demonstrations by the instructor.

    Sign up at Reception if you will be attending.

    A 10-week Beginner Tai Chi class will start in the Spring.  Start date of class TBD.

     

    Quilt Raffle

    A beautiful Autumn themed quilt is being raffled off with all proceeds to benefit future programs and events at the Rose City Senior Center. The handmade quilt was made by the very talented Senior Center Quilting Group. Thank you for the beautiful donation!

    Tickets are 3 for $1 and are available at reception.

    Drawing to be held on Friday, November 16th and you do not have to be present to win!
